Yes indeed pimpmysock, WEC have good prospects in South Africa but there are several companies working on coal fines as the first pilot plant was built in 2004.

The problems with these waste fines was lack of moisture after processing, 10% required; removal of pyrite sulphur; and the forming of the briquettes.

I look forward to WEC's success in SA.


So far the main profits have come from sales of livestock and wool at Ingomar Station in the South of the Phillipson tenement. Profits from the area reached around $11m and are set to grow further in coming years.

Ingomar is also the area in which the Ingomar Trial Pit is situated and 10k tonnes of coal has remained under cover since 2002. This area is set to supply Southern Power Stations as Leigh Creek coal is running down more sharply.


Yes, I'm confident on existing, but small, profitability from this area, but there is the worry still that it is just not enough and a new plot is needed to replace the now mothballed Tabang in Indonesia.

The present share price is too low, imho, but the Board of Directors, if they have any new unique plans, have yet to let us know.
