having a guess at an average head grade over the next 6 months is one hard puzzle to work out. two previous MCO reports note that head grade measures 32% more than average stope samples grade. yet i got this itch in me to play it conservative to be on the safe side. so i will place my 2 bob's bet on a clean & simple 31g/t Au average head grade over the first 6 months of production. mind you, if the free milling recovery rate is only 92% then i adjust my punt to 28g/t Au.

we know historically that Burns head grade was 40g/t. so that gives us one clue. i would love to know the head grade of Perkins zone when previously in production. that would help us mob of MCO "punters" having a stab at an average head grade.

in reality we need more guidance from the co. as to how the samples relate to expected head grade.
