Yes, he put forward a safer and more popular theory to enter after the confirmation that SP has bottomed and the (technical) uptrend is confirmed, rather than catching the falling knifes. With this theory, one is never aim to buy at bottom price and happy to pay higher SP.
On the other hand, catching the falling knife means one may be lucky enough to catch the knifes at the rock bottom price. I belong to this group (and got it right about 2 years ago to start catching the falling knifes at below 10c to 6.3c). Need to decide the low enough point to start catching the falling knifes, and do it progressively.
