If you're making 75% margin & you discount the retail price by 30% you still make a 64% margin.

No brainer if you increase sales so long as the increase in sales (& generated GM) outstrips the lost GM of the discount.
I think it does show that the retail demand is now a long way from the logistical capacity, whether that be because of increased capacity or a drop off in online sales.
