Seems like we have heard that story many times lately and for the past many months. There is simply no excuse for dragging things out this long.
In any western economy these african desk jockeys would have been fired by now .
It is time for management to do what they are paid for . Get an appointment with the Minister , tell him we dont pay expediting fees (bribes ), and to get his finger out. Unfortunately I think our MD is too nicer guy, and we need an ass kicker. We need to set the right tone upfront, otherwise it will be a long hard road with many obstacles and requests for baksheesh/ expediting fees/ bribes etc and that is a never ending story.
Sorry guys , but we are a one trick pony and if we cant make this work we may as well pack up and go home .
