In recent times coal has been made a dirty word enhanced by global warming extremists with most government leaders spreading doomsayer speech on the impending doom of earth due to climate change. Our prophet Tim Flannery certainly condemned CO2 and by his predictions 8 years ago we all should have been dying from thirst in 2015 and wading waist deep is sea water.
What is the real future for coal?

Regardless of speculation of what the future of coal is, unless the thermal coal prices increase, AJM will be having a hard time making decent profit margins unless they can reduce costs.
Is AJM fully committed to coal? It seems they are.
Personally I think coal has been of great benefit for man over centuries and will have have a future in the worlds energy generating mix; especially in India and also China too.
At the moment, thermal coal prices are looking bleak and this is why AJM's share price is low; Can clean coal technology turn this around?
