You have to go back to when the government decided to step back from supplying housing for the lower economic group
They manipulated the private sector to become the landlords of Australia
Consequently we are left with a dogs breakfast jumble of rental housing
So any change now has to be done carefully or we will a bigger disaster than it is already
Then to make matters worse they have manipulated the property section to make it boom and advertised what a investment bonanza it is so many ordinary Australians have all their saving in residential real estate
There is only IMHO one quick effective move that the government can make, STOP ALL IMMIGRATION, effective immediately
