Nvoi explains lack of traction, changes course
The chair of contingent workforce platform Nvoi, Andrew Dutton, has told today's AGM that "change is hard and slow", in explaining the company's lack of traction in the market and its new focus.
Nvoi launched the enterprise version of its platform in April and "achieved some traction but not scale", he said, noting that in most organisations, "the massive benefits we see available from adoption of digital HR platforms are a low priority against more traditional areas of cost savings and structural change".
As a result, Nvoi has adjusted its business strategy to sell to "the very people we were seeking to disrupt, that is, recruiters".
"Using our technology, recruiters could still solve the 'speed-to-hire' problem part of the way or could offer our platform as an alternative low-cost acquisition channel to their clients. We are seeing some interest in this model and are continuing to build a pipeline of opportunities."
