They have established a supply chain in North America using commercial scale facilities and existing technology to produce spherical like SYR. SYR propose to do it in house, MNS are paying other companies in the supply chain to produce spherical. Have a look at the announcement from April 20:

Not sure if the supply chain is currently in commercial operation but has the resources to begin operations if Magnis starts shipping. The latest addition to the management team is Lead Battery Consultant, Dr. Shailesh Upreti. He has a company called ChargeCCCV that has sourced these supply chain partners to be able to manufacture "drop in" anodes.
