Kina Bank recognised as most improved private sector business - Post Courier

KINA Bank was recognised as the most improved private sector business in PNG from 2022 to 2023 by PNG Human Resources Institute in Port Moresby yesterday.

People & Culture General Manager Akino Wano said as the leading digital bank in the country, they will continue to drive innovation and deliver services and products to their customers.

She said Kina Bank is fourth largest financial institute in the country and currently the second biggest bank and still growing.

“As the leading digital bank, we continue to drive innovation and deliver services and products in making banking accessible, convenient and easier for our customers.”

Mrs Wano said Kina Bank has continued to support the country in digital banking.

“Launching WhatsApp banking and just this month we have launched our first Kina digital hub at Eliseo Plaza in Rainbow. And yesterday, we launched our mobile banking team,” she said.

She said all these services and products were to bring services closer and accessible to their customers as their main goal run parallel to their most important asset, which are people.

Mrs Wano said they remain competitive in terms of retaining and attracting customers.

She added that they also provide convenient environment to their employees to encourage innovation, creativity and growth.

PNGHRI Executive Council President Jerry Wemin said Kina Bank has done well this year despite challenges.
