At 4 pm today dad was taken to hospital by ambulance after having pain in his groin and going down to his knee.
Dad just turned 87 and he wants to go (die).....he always jokes about it.
I can't go there as yet ( he lives about 2 hours away) but what really p%$ess me off is that my brother told me he is in bed (lucky) but cannot lie on his back.....but no doctor has seen him in more than 4 hours.
My brother has now told them to give him all pain relief possible for comfort....it really sh#ts me that they do this to people.
Sorry just venting.......he is a great old man who came here in 64 and worked in the coal mines all his life, so many aussies did not want to do the dirty work then as conditions were pretty bad.
He told me about 5 weeks ago how they saw a man fall into the fire of the coals one time.
We just want him now to be pain free and comfortable....I bloody well hope that is not too much to ask these days
