i was watching it live on the bloomberg. A guy from the FED by the name of Bullard came on and said we may consider pausing tapering and will look at the data as it comes in and make a decision from there - meaning that they will indefinitely extend QE. I had a shed load of puts on the S&P500 at the time, had to sell up and get out....missing out on making a killing. I believe they have a team in place also which props up the market should a crash take place, I believe these guys saved the market from crashing on Wednesday afternoon trading. Not sure that they are out of the woods yet but the market are stabilized for now I believe.
