As suggested if your bored/depressed go find a place where you can belong. Sounds silly I know and you could be like me who doesn't know what to do if I couldn't do my job.
For me meeting people is a joy even if they are absolute D heads. Most are good people though thank god or whoever.
I did lawn bowls in my late 20's early 30's through a rough patch and it was a big help.
It doesn't matter what you do but get up and do something life is too short anyway.
