Telling evidence of Euro economic sickness is the negative interest rates, emergency measures which were introduced long before the Ukraine "crisis".
Now the economic woes of the EU are compounded by higher energy costs and therefore rampant inflation, as the the Euro depreciates ever faster.
With the US Fed raising rates, no-one wants the Euro, so there is a capital flight into dollars.
Down goes the Euro.
It's hard to see any future for the Euro and the European Union. Another 5 years should see it broken up into it's component countries again..

Yeah, absolutely they will continue to commit economic suicide until they get some guts or the people force them to change course and realign themselves with Russia or face the obvious consequences.
The European ruling class are pathetic US lapdogs and have guaranteed the destruction of the ill conceived European concept.
