Freud established the predisposition of the female to promiscuity back in the dark ages of the 20th century and got hammered for his impudence. A peternalistic society thought it could put a cap on what was taboo.
In the present 21st century we have the means to prove his findings true and going by social media and e.g. US paternity suits those means haven't disappointed in revealing what we all feared or suspected.
