The clue may be in Axiom's recent announcement.
Axiom is encouraged by the forming of a new government in Solomon Islands. Positive sentiments
were voiced by government decision makers in recent weeks as to the Isabel Nickel Project and
Axiom’s development plans.
A number of MPs blaming the recently deposed government for hindering the development of key projects such as the Isabel Nickel Project;
Demands as to why Axiom has not been awarded the project rights yet; and
Claims of undue and inappropriate influence on the Minerals Board, the statutory committee for one of the first steps in the licence approval process.

The Law is clear . These are SI Laws, not to be glossed over - equivalent to most of the world. The Laws are not made up or not able to be circumvated .
First in ‘first served’ ~ the first party to ‘peg’ & apply to the Govt , for Prospecting Rights - wins , or gains , the Rights to Prospect.
Without a clear confounding reason - ( ignoring all ..the many anomalies wrt Axiom vs the Rest / Sumitomo Interest / greed or Jonnie come latelies .. ?/ former Mines Minister ‘draging heels, for several years .. possibly received bribes ‘, out of depth / parties within Govt ranks possibly acting outside the interests of the SI people or the ruling Laws — the last 7 years journey .
Fact:
Axiom Mining has applied , (again- in March ‘17) & done every reasonable & ethical , sane & patient legally viable action towards their quest, now over 1/2 a decade - fully taking the local People along with them in full cooperation,and love & and with 20% ownership enshrined for the Local People- towards Mining and tenure over the Isabel Nickel and other tenements in which they hold interest,
Holding ones breathe , may what is Best & Right , be decided .
The Law however - cannot be blown over.
Is this true - tomorrow??
