why do you propose we come from 'nothing'? obviously we came from the physical material or seed in our parents

why do you say 'energy' comes from 'outside the physical'? for example, for human society, energy comes from burning wood, burning oil, boiling water to create steam, burning coal, nuclear fission, etc. if energy was not related to the physical, we would not be cutting down trees, mining coal, uranium, oil, etc, obviously, the same as your life, which comes from the physical, energy also comes from the physical, including the heat of fire

also why do you equate 'energy' with 'sentience'? for example, reading a book predominantly requires sentience yet running a marathon requires predominantly energy

sentience is more of a mystery to explain. if you are a scientist, you can explain how non sentient communication occurs, for example, in computers

you seem to be asking from 'where' sentience comes from before even understanding what sentience actually is, i.e., how it operates based on cells, neurons, electrodes, etc

personally, i can't explain the neurology of sentience but maybe you look there first

for example, if certain parts of your brain are removed, will your sentience remain the same?
