Except for the fact that the US released a rather specific warning on March 7th that Putin dismissed as “Western blackmail” whatever that is supposed to mean.
It’s not the first time the US gave Putin warning of an imminent terror attack, they did so in 2017, this time Putins ego wasn't in the way and Putin thanked the US for the info that helped prevent the attack.
Works quite well and simply if you take the warnings seriously.
