Where is Julian Assange? Who runs so called democratic elections? Corruption is what democracy stands for.
Instead of calling it "Democracy, a truer word is Kleptocracy", because that is the system we are in. Just to give you an example of some of the governing systems, take Pakistan as an example. Imran Khan was ousted even though he was immensely popular amongst the people. Instead they put in a leader, wait for it, that is out on bail facing corruption charges, including putting his son in a leadership position who also faces similar corruption charges. 24 of the 35 newly appointed ministers are facing bribery and corruption charges. I should also mention the US as being the most corrupt nation by far. Ousted leaders and most wars are instigated through the US for their own gain. They are not a democracy in my view. Look at the leadership filled with corruption. Biden is as corrupt as they come.
You talk about freedom. Zelensky has shut down any kind of freedom in Ukraine. The Secret Police (SBU) has rounded up journalists, bloggers, Youtubers, opposing politicians. Many have turned up tortured and dead. That is a re-occurring theme since Poroshenko first took power in 2014. It has gotten far worse since Zelensky became president. Is that a democracy?
Finally, how can anyone in the Western World seriously make any kind of judgement call when they are not given the facts from both sides of the media? We are only given one side. The side that the American Press wants you to see. That is not journalism. You have to dig deep to uncover the truth of what is going on.
All the atrocities that you claim Russians have committed, prove it. Where is the proof? Not claims by Western Media. Where are the rapes, the tortures, the atrocities that you are all claiming? There is no proof what soever. The garbage that is consistently spouted as being proof on HC is mind blowing.
In the meantime the EU idiots rooting for Ukraine, continuing to send weapons are going to be in for one hell of a shock as this war grinds on. Same goes for the US. Inflation - Inflation - Inflation. Who and where are the EU going to get more weaponry from? The US war machine can't even turn them out fast enough. So much for the NATO army. Russia has been scooping up all the systems, weaponry left behind and taking them back to Russia. There is plenty. Those wasteful Ukies.
This all comes down to cost.
Can the broken EU and US system really afford a long protracted war? Secondly, what plans does the US has for China if they decided to up the anti with Taiwan?
