Agree with all your points, but at the end of the day no one should be investing money in something they know nothing about or without a fundamental understanding of the stock market and how to trade effectively. Unfortunately, it's the only way for people to learn, and I myself have lost tens of thousands because I thought I knew what I was doing or got sucked in to a trade because of other holders or employees comments. You get a quick win, and then you have all the confidence in the world that you can pick winners all the time or that some bloke/woman who is posting on HC who is supposedly best friends with the MD knows something other people don't. Trading is not for the faint hearted and absolutely not for people who are trying to make money quickly.
It's sad to see and hear, but it's the nature of the beast and the market takes no prisoners. Condolences to the people who lost more than they can afford tho, pretty f*ed up at the end of the day.
