Quite amasing we are talking a tiny amount of $50Bln of reserves to fund infrastructure in Asia/Pac. I'm sure US are scared of the influence China will have on small & developing countries. Surely with someone like Australia on board it would actually act as a moderator (well probably thinking a government without Abbott) & assist with a Western influence. Whilst mature countries growth rates stumble, surely this could only be a good thing. Stuff the US & their bloody minded foreign policy I say.
Australia needs to find a way to work with China & not just be at the bidding of the US.
What do they say about backing the right horse & all.
Me, I would have a bet either way.
