Interesting article by Alan Kohler in the Australian where he suggests the government would be better off selling the NBN to Telstra rather than carrying the debt and paying Telstra $1 billion a year for the next 35 years,given that this is still more than the NBN is worth.
Alan Kohler was once one of the champions of the NBN but has now admitted he got it wrong and the fibre to the home was an expensive extravagance that would never show a profit,so much for the much used future proofing of Australia,you future proof technology.
