I was brought up to believe the Russians were a barbaric primitive race during the cold war until I educated myself and learned what an impressive culture they have had in many areas especially literature and alike.
The wash up form the communist revolution may not have been all that flash. But I watched and read Putin at close hand; he is not the oaf and fool the West like to portray him as, just watch his 3 hour press conferences with world media, he all over most topics with profound knowledge, from world conflict to local issues.
He also rightly states that if we are a threat to world peace, who is the County invading Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya etc etc.
And maybe if the US stopped spending $85 billion on places like Afghanistan maybe they could direct those funds into job creation and alike.
Seriously people need to take the blinkers off, the US way is coming to an end. Just ask Durturto from the Phillipines.
