This is certainly a brutal sell-down - so far about 60% and falling, in less than a week.
The worry is that it is on no news at all. So it is either a leaky ship ahead of the quarterly, or pure manipulation. Even if it were a major holder bailing out, you'd think it would be done over a period of time to maintain a reasonable share price, rather than dumping and pushing the price down.
The other concern is that there has been no word from Lynas, either to support their shareholders, or to reassure the market, even without a speeding ticket. It would have been good to see Lynas getting proactive for a change, and announcing some thoughts about the share price and why the sell-off.
But this is really nasty and getting nastier by the minute. Complete capitulation. Panic selling.
