The Japanese have had their say in relatively recent years. They never intended to occupy Australia, just all Asia to the north. That is why the only Japanese attacks on Australia were limited to bombings of ports and harbours to take out shipping that could be used against them up in Asia. Those who say we'd be living on rice except for the Yanks are talking crap.
