The Company’s principal activity is to develop and commercialize insecticides/pesticides. Its platform technology is based on a naturally occurring class of chemicals known as beta-triketones, that seeks to address the global problems of insecticide resistance and toxicity. The Company's lead beta-triketone insecticide products include Flavocide and Qcide. Flavocide is a chemically synthesized product based on flavesone. Qcide is a natural oil product containing tasmanone as the active constituent. The oil is extracted from the leaves of the Gympie Messmate, by utilizing a steam distillation process. Its platform provides multiple solutions for insecticide manufacturers in applications across crop protection and storage, public health, animal health and consumer applications. The Company also aims to develop and commercialize a portfolio of targeted insect control and management solutions.More
