The Company owns tenements in Bangladesh. Its projects include Gaibandha Mineral Sands Project, Kurigram Mineral Sands Project and Pabna Mineral Sands Project. The Gaibandha Mineral Sands Project consists of three mining leases covering a total area of around 2395 hectares (ha), located at the Brahmaputra-Jamuna River under Gaibandha Sadar Upazila and Fulchari Upazila of Gaibandha District in northern Bangladesh. The Kurigram Mineral Sands Project has one exploration license application, covering a total area of over 4,000 ha. The Pabna Mineral Sands Project has one exploration license application covering a total area of around 4,000 ha. All projects are indicatively being prospective for alluvial heavy mineral sands including, but not limited to, ilmenite, rutile, zircon, garnet and magnetite.More
