The Company is focused on the development and commercialization of its lead product candidate, OncoSil localized radiation therapy, for the treatment of pancreatic and distal cholangiocarcinoma. OncoSil is a targeted radioactive isotope (Phosphorus-32), implanted directly into a patient’s pancreatic tumors through an endoscopic ultrasound. OncoSil is a single-use brachytherapy device that has received breakthrough device designation in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States for the treatment of unresectable locally advanced pancreatic cancer in combination with chemotherapy. OncoSil comprises phosphorous-32 microparticles suspended in a specially formulated diluent. OncoSil is indicated for the treatment of patients with locally advanced unresectable pancreatic cancer, in combination with gemcitabine-based chemotherapy.More
