OncoSil is a targeted radioactive isotope (Phosphorus-32), implanted directly into a patient’s pancreatic tumors through an endoscopic ultrasound. OncoSil is a single-use brachytherapy device that has received breakthrough device designation in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States for the treatment of unresectable locally advanced pancreatic cancer in combination with chemotherapy. OncoSil comprises phosphorous-32 microparticles suspended in a specially formulated diluent.
