"I HAD THE RECELL TODAY.....

this is what happened.

i had the area numbed with topical anaesthetic. (pointless in mycase as i seem to be resistant to local anaesthetics,

then i had a carboxytherapy/needling treatment to illicit would healing response (painful)

then i had the scar lasered with a fractional laser (more painful)

then i had a local anaesthetic injection in the skin behind my ear and a square of skin 2cmx 2cm cut off (painful)

the skin was cultured in the Recell kit then some was injected into the indented areas of my scar (very painful) and finally the solution applied over the scar and covered with a dressing

more recell solution was put on the donor site behind the ear and covered with a dressing

i was given a prescription for penicillin to prevent against infection

Right now i look like an idiot with a big dressing in the centre of my forehead down to my nose

outer dressing gets taken off in 2 days time, transparant dressing underneath in a weeks time "
