Spot on Chubbito. Yes, SYR may need to accept lower prices than $1500/t if it wants to produce large volumes. BUT it certainly won't put them out of business. The first ones to go out of business are the high cost producers, not SYR. This in turn will provide SYR with more potential buyers as the high cost suppliers shut down. Its common sense.
