You could have bought Enron stock for sub $1 back in the day and sold at $90. Does possibly making 90x your money mean it was a good investment? It ended up worth nothing.
I am not insinuating that IPP's board are fraudulent, far from it. My point is that it's not always the result or outcome you should be focused on. We should be looking forward into the future. What if they fail to become cash flow positive and it goes to $0.10c? That's a 90% loss of capital for someone buying in today's level.
