What excites many experts about the Jaguar prospect is that the Norwegian partners, who apparently are very familiar with this type of play in other parts of the North Sea, are prepared to pay 95% of the costs, leaving EXR with a 40% stake in the well but only 5% of the costs. Today's announcement confirms Russell Langusch's claim at the August briefings that the Norwegians were very keen to drill this prospect asap.
