Goodness me. The FED spends hundreds of billions, even trillions buying treasuries (you can see them on the balance sheet), yet we have gold bears posting 'the FED does not buy treasuries'.

So, 1 min of google searching I find the FED does not 'directly' buy treasuries. Their member banks buy them, then trade them to papa FED for money (credit).

Infose, you are kidding me, are you not, when you try to post that the FED has nothing to do with/in the treasury auction market. Your are pulling are leg, aren't you.

All4 - where to you find the FED ended up with more treasuries than ever at the latest auction. Because with QE tapering, it is impossible for LESS QE to buy MORE treasuries. Where did you find this nugget.
