Bit too early yet, but once some more definitive results start to trickle back from FAN-1.....this is a big possibility.
IF Conoco Phillips wanted to continue their strategy as per the below:
"We believe the positive result reinforces our global exploration strategy of getting into the right plays early in their life-cycle."
http://www.conocophillips.com/newsr...nnounces-Oil-Discovered-Offshore-Senegal.aspx
Then you could forsee a play for FAR, increasing their stake in Senegal while at the same time, becomome a majority holder of the lucrative Kenyan assets...which fits in very well with their strategy imo
SO, unless commerciality at FAN-1 is inconclusive, then FAR can expect high teens early 20's for sp in coming weeks
IT would come down to whether Cath & the team wanted to sell out of all their hard work thus far at such an early stage of the game.
But at the end of the day, if the right price were there, you would hve to take it wouldnt you
Cajun still on site....which is a great sign.....
Been 44 days now since it resumed from 4400m
thats a helluva lot of testing and sampling
