No doubt this post won't be appreciated by the many obvious blatant rampers

Hotcopper has long had a reputation of being a rampers paradise and of being aggressive to those with opposing views from the herd - something that HC has done little to alter.

To all those posters that ramp the crap out of this thing, whether the blatantly obvious or the more subtle, there is a very real possibility that you could cost a perfect stranger money. Before anyone suggests that the responsibility is on the buyer that's rubbish. Hotcopper forums are full of gullible inexperienced investors that are likely to buy from what is written on an anonymous forum. It's the responsibility of the more experienced to present the objective side and suggest that falling in love with a stock is about the most dangerous action any investor / trader can do.

ELK may have its day, but I would suggest a lot has to first fall into place before that occurs, like sorting out the sale of 65% working interest in Grieve, securing development funding and most importantly seeing a much higher oil price

There are two sides to every story, both need to be told to give the gullible something to think about.

The obvious question is why does Denbury want out - this is from a 1 November 2013 research report by D J Charmichael:-

Grieve re-pressurisation increase could accelerate first oil. Operator Denbury Resources is pursuing two key activities which could accelerate the re-pressurisation for the Grieve field and potential first oil (currently scheduled for early 2015). These include increasing the CO2 injection rate and the installation of a larger down-hole pump which could increase water injection by up to 3 times (delivering 25,000 barrels of water per day).

Lets bring some meaningful discussion back into these pages ... anyone care to tell me what happened with the Grieve re-pressurisation mentioned above.

What does Denbury now know that they want to divest their 65% share.
