Your new BFF can quickly turn into the debtor from hell, if the economy, the market, the weather, the job, or any other number of reasons, turns against you......and you are unfortunate enough to owe them money.

In many ways, I admire Alan Bond. Went bankrupt for a Billion dollars. Allegedly, set up his family before hand (in London, according to the stories I have heard). Did his time on a prison farm. Then on release, the bankers could not touch him (the double jeopardy rule - you cannot be convicted twice for the same crime). Went over to London and lived the high life. The story was on ' Four Corners ' a few years ago, from memory.
