There was an article in AFR today suggesting this is very good for AFG. The reasons basically are that
- AFG stake is (relatively) small but they are leveraged to this through the AEP stake (not their money but they get the fees)
- and also this pretty much guarantees not only that Qantas fleet expansion will occur but that AFG have locked in this fllet financing being done by them
I think the sp says it all, most people like it.
