Yes you have certainly increased the risk of losing more money. Valuing options is a pain as you have to estimate the return probability distribution which is an even harder than figuring out which shares will go up
I certainly don’t borrow money to buy shares like MUS. I invested on the basis that it is more likely than not that I will lose the lot. If MUS does goes belly up I will sleep at night - the fun is working out which companies the market is not valuing correctly. So far I am doing OK.
