What we can conclude is that Greenspan is acquiring more wisdom as he gets older. He is reflecting on all his mistakes in the run up to the GFC - mistakes which the Federal Reserve with their 'lower for longer' Fed Funds rate has replicated - and he see's his errors & is reaching correct conclusions about golds place in the scheme of things.
