There usually no difference between taking an investment or trade! There are always doubt because future is always an unknown. It does not matter whatever FA/TA is screaming at the reader, there is always a risk the opposite happens and dealing with unknown (future) requires knowing where one enters, where one exit (profit or loss) and what to do in the interim when neither stop loss or targets are met.

The greed or fear factor can very easily infect the mindset especially when 'kicking oneself' looking at hindsight! This is the worse form of punishment because once you know where the right hand side of the chart is, it is easy to craft entry and exit precisely and make those no brainer profits. Sooner or later next week or next month, entry now is either a no brainer buy or prudent wait. Which will it be? Wait for hindsight chats to confirm, hehe.

When in doubt, I alway look at BMN, PDN, LYC, LNG, BAL, BKL DMP as good case studies of how to manage expectations. They each had a once in a lifetime wealth generation some taking many years while others a 1 year wonder. 'This time it's different' is what I have always been reminded by myself in the past and other bias opinions. No one likes to leave paper profits off the table that went on a gallop to the moon nor a collapse or shrinkage of those paper gains still on that table then have to stick to the bottom drawer. I think I've gone through all these experiences both bitter and sweet to know that it is never different any time. Sorry for patronising, just trying to keep myself(bastard) honest.
