These are all controlled markets. Even the Australian Reserve Bank pumped in money today and I think they have placed a floor on how the max they want the index to fall everyday/part of day.
Very very frustrating. I shorted the DAX to the hilt only to find it is being held up. Wish I had put that same $$ in FTSE.
