Adelaide Resources Limited (ADN) announced its best copper intersection to date at the promising Rover project, 75 kilometres southwest of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. The company said it would now plan additional drilling to determine the economic significance of the potentially ore grade copper mineralization. The new results follow a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program started last month on the Rover 4 prospect within Adelaide Resources’ Rover Project. The intersection from a hole drilled to a final depth of 342 metres is 15 metres at 2.07% copper and 0.15 g/t gold from 221 to 236 metres, including 5 metres at 3.36% copper and 0.19 g/t gold from 225 metres. All one metre samples in the 15 metre interval exceeded 1% copper with the highest value being 4.45% copper. Gold values in one metre samples ranged from 0.02 g/t to 0.35 g/t.
