It is far easier to market a product that will be truly useful.
Take nothing away from the condoms, but in reality the plain old dommy is proven to be ~98-99% effective in stopping the transmittal of STD's, so why would people rush out and buy the Vivagel coated condom?
Further to that, why would any condom manufacturer want to openly advertise a product that would make their other condoms look inferior? While this would be great for SPL, it does not make much sense for the manufacturers.
