To me this all smells of a takeover or partial buyout of a section of the business. No other scenario would seem to explain the lack of explanation/communication on this other than it being commercially sensitive and SPL being able to justify not communicating to shareholders on the basis of this being detrimental to negotiations. I've suggested this before and some have disagreed but I feel really quite strongly that this is what is happening behind the scenes.
