Thanks for posting link to Peter Lynch investment advice.
It is a must watch for any investor. I have re posted as a click and watch.
IMO VRX fits most of all of the criteria of Peter Lynch for a good long term investment.

Peters main advice is know your product and is there a growing demand for it around the world.
And his biggest advice is if you can't explain what you are invested in and why to a 12 year old in 5 minutes, then it is junk.

I know what silica sand is used for and I know VRX has a lot of it.
I know the sand is easy to get at when VRX has mining approvals in place.
I know there is mainly scrub over the deposit and no forests to cut down.
    I understand the business model.

I do not know what VRX will end up selling it for in 12 months time but I know it is valuable.

I know these things by doing a little research.

Silica sand is needed for a growing glass market, construction and so many other markets.
There is a world shortage of silica sand.
VRX has a world class silica sand resource with most of the transport infrastructure in place to get it to customers.
There is great reporting by Bruce M on a regular basis.
    The business has no debt.
There are not that many shares in the register.
I see the growing demand for all the products that silica sand is needed for producing those products.
