    You have got to be kidding? You seriously think EARNIE was resonsible for BHP buying in at 20.

    For crying out loud....


    BHP paid 20 cents because APG needed $5m for the plant, and it was the perfect way for BHP to remain under substantial holder rules.

    My maths above may not be right, but it was to do with the amount APG needed vs. the # of shares (ie. %age of shareholding) BHP wanted.


    EARNIE may have had some good posts, but please, let's remember he was here for his own purposes too. I don't for one second believe that all of his motives were entirely philanthropic.

    If EARNIE eats something, eventually he will need to do poo as well. And it probably smells, just like everyone elses.
