I never made any money while I followed that policy because I never have enough money to spread around. Two grand on 3 or 4 companies each may make the money you need in 10 - 20 years time but I'll probably be dead by then.
There is a chance I could have $100,000 in 1 - 2 years with this company, or if I pay attention opt out with still a nice profit earlier.
