My shares account only shows the extra options I was entitled to as a current shareholder.

I spoke with MHL's secretary on Friday last week about the extra million options for I had applied. He said that as long as I had lodged my application and payment for them by the due date that MHL would try to ensure that I got those options. They have asked their broker that these options applications be given preference before placing the remaining with the broker's clients.

However, my understanding from reading the prospectus, is that the allotment of the options is actually up to the broker and not MHL. That is why I am not confident that I will actually get them.

I was also told that the broker would not take late applications for those options, after I asked if I could increase my application to 2,000,000 options.

At this stage I am not counting my options chickens, but in the light of what they are trading I would like to get hold of them.
