Yeah right. When people feign concern about waste from renewables they really are saying:
1) There is no way we could recycle the parts of a wind turbine (or other renewable)
2) The steel, copper and rare earths in a turbine have no value
3) We can ignore the 100s of billions of tonnes of garbage and waste already in landfill, lakes, rivers and in the oceans
4) Gas turbines and coal plants can run forever
5) If, heaven forbid, we must scrap a gas turbine or coal plant the waste is of no concern
6) If, heaven forbid, we must scrap a gas turbine or coal plant the mass is vastly less, on a per megawatt basis, than wind turbines and other renewables
7) The billions of tonnes of ash already produced by burning coal (containing mercury, cadmium, uranium, etc) is of lesser concern than scrapping every part of every turbine built or to be built
8) Taking into account lifetime, the mass of every building, road, car, etc, already built or made, or to be built or made, or already scrapped is somehow in the same order of magnitude to the mass of every wind turbine built or to be built
9) The Chinese aren't going cold on nuclear power, China losing its taste for nuclear
10) Decommissioning of nuclear power plants and storing their waste is solved and easy
11) If (when) one of the fantasy rockets transporting nuclear waste to the sun exploded there will be no effects and no backlash
12) Nuclear power can be rolled out as quickly as renewables
13) Power from nuclear fusion is just around the corner
14) There is no room for renewables to become vastly more efficient and cheaper
